Services
Trade services for ferrosilicon buyers
Bridgeway supports North American industrial buyers across the full ferrosilicon transaction, from quotation to delivered shipment. Every engagement runs through Bridgeway as the U.S. seller of record, with added support where a deal calls for it.
Capabilities
Services matched to the transaction
Bridgeway is focused exclusively on ferrosilicon rather than operating as a broad commodity marketplace. Each engagement is structured around the product requirements, available supply, documentation, and inspection scope of the order.
Trading
On a Trading order, Bridgeway is the U.S. seller of record on the buyer's purchase order and contracts to deliver landed product. Product specification, shipment-specific pricing, Incoterm, payment terms, and delivery terms are confirmed in writing for each shipment.
Transaction Support
Where a buyer's preferred structure calls for it, Bridgeway can instead support a direct buyer–producer transaction, coordinating sourcing, document review, inspection, and commercial follow-up. This is arranged case by case, alongside the standard seller-of-record model.
Logistics
Bridgeway coordinates packing, export documentation, ocean freight, and destination delivery with the producer, buyer, and carriers, on the Incoterm agreed for each shipment. Inland transport and last-mile delivery to the buyer's plant or warehouse are arranged where the agreed Incoterm requires it.
Payment & Documentation Terms
Payment is structured per shipment in the sales contract, typically a T/T deposit with the balance payable against shipping documents, and documentary release conditions are set out in the contract.
Market Intelligence
Bridgeway sits at the Southeast Asia–North America ferrosilicon trade and shares market context across that trade — pricing reference points, Southeast Asian supply conditions, and downstream application demand. Topic-specific context is available on request.
Documentation & Compliance
Document pack and compliance posture on every shipment
Across every service, Bridgeway coordinates the Mill Test Certificate, Certificate of Origin, and full shipment document pack with the producer for each order, and arranges third-party pre-shipment inspection when the buyer requests it. The complete shipment document list is on the Ferrosilicon page.
Every counterparty is OFAC-screened and KYC-verified before a transaction proceeds. Transaction and shipment records are retained for five years, matching the U.S. Customs standard under 19 USC § 1508.
Featured material
Focused exclusively on Ferrosilicon
The featured material is ferrosilicon. Bridgeway reviews FeSi 75, FeSi 72, low-aluminum grades, buyer-specified chemistry limits, sizing, and packing through the RFQ process.
Product specification, sizing, packing, origin requirements, and inspection scope are confirmed in the quotation or sales contract. Batch chemistry is documented in the shipment's Mill Test Certificate, with origin and inspection records provided as agreed.
RFQ inputs
- Target grade and chemistry limits
- Required size range and packing
- Order volume and delivery destination
- Documentation and inspection requirements
- Requested timing, payment structure, and preferred Incoterm or delivery arrangement
